Your teacher will tell you which excercises will go into your final portfolio for SQA assessments. There are about six graphics assignment excercises during S3 and S4. It is advised to put in your very best effort when doing these excercises as they will count towards your final grade. 

 

 

The course content is as follows:

S3:

 

Colour Wheel.

Render two objects, with backgrounds.

Produce a computer generated background.

Use magic markers.

One and Two Point Perspective 3D Drawing.

Isometric and Oblique 3D Drawing.

Generate a 3D Graph using software.

Use a Drawing Board for Orthographic Projection.

Computer Knowledge – RAM, ROM, Peripherals, e-mail, fax, etc.

Assessment

 

I P Illustration and Presentation (based on your Graphs, Posters, Drawings throughout S3 and S4)

 

D A – Drawing Ability.

Assessed by -   S3 Class Test

                         Prelim Drawing Exam

                        Final Exam (May S4)

 

K I – Knowledge and Interpretation.

Assessed in -    S3 Class Test

                        Prelim Drawing Exam

                        Final Exam (May S4)

Orthographic Projection – Engineering Drawing.

Developments.

True Shapes.

Use of Libraries.
